First-Timers Blurb
*$20 FEE for this first meeting ONLY. After this, all meetings (except workshops) are FREE upon acceptance into the group
This meeting is a mandatory requirement before access is provided to the main support group. Designed for first timers to our group meetings, this is a support group designed for people who are thinking about leaving or have left a narcissistic relationship. Acceptance is not guaranteed if we do not think this group is a good fit for you.
*For safety and security, CAMERAS MUST BE ON DURING THIS MEETING*.
FEE: $20. This cost is designed to ensure attendance for first timers. Our regular group meetings are free of charge. If this group appears to be a good fit, you can join any of the free meetings, special event meetings and monthly support meetings upon invite.
DESCRIPTION:
The first half of the meeting will consist of us introducing ourselves, providing a brief description of our group and how it operates and then advising you of our rules and regulations.
For the second half of the meeting, each member will be provided 5 MINUTES time to:

• Introduce themselves
• Highlight the specifically narcissistic behaviors they’ve witnessed/experienced in others, and
• Tell us what they are looking for from the group so that we can advise you the best support meeting in our network for your individual needs and circumstances. For safety and security, CAMERAS MUST BE ON DURING THIS MEETING.

*NOTE: You are responsible for making sure your Zoom settings work prior to the meeting. Please check your settings and give it a trial run before your attendance.* Also, Please note that if you fail to attend the event and no-show, this fee is non-refundable as we are holding open a spot for you and have alotted time for your share. If you cannot make the event due to an unforeseen circumstance and can contact us BEFORE the event takes place, we can fit you into an upcoming meeting as long as this is communicated to us beforehand

ALL ZOOM LINKS ARE SENT VIA EMAIL (WHICHEVER EMAIL YOU SIGNED UP WITH ON MEETUP) UP TO 20 MIN BEFORE AND MEETUP PRIVATE MESSAGES A COUPLE HOURS BEFORE THE MEETING. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE YOUR SETTINGS TURNED ON TO RECEIVE EMAILS FROM MEETUP AS OUR LINKS ARE SENT THIS WAY TO ALL MEETINGS.

In-Meeting RULES

• NO contacting other members through the meeting chat or Meetup private messages without going through an organizer first to ask permission. Please contact an organizer immediately if you are contacted without consent, or generally made to feel uncomfortable by someone to an organizer.
• If you feel triggered, please mute your computer or briefly sign out. The organizer will let you back in no questions asked.
• Please RAISE HANDS and do not interrupt or talk over each other.
• Do not raise your voice at another member or the organizer.
• Do not bring up politics or religion.
• Do not use slurs. The use of a slur will result in removal.
• Keep mentions of suicidal ideation and physical or sexual abuse general. Please avoid more graphic detail.
