Hi ladies. On my Big BAM ride I met a very skilled, lady bike mechanic. She teaches a class for women in Augusta at the Creative Klondike. (thecreativeklondike.org). She will tell you to rely on your own self to make simple repairs while you are out on the trail. Don't default to calling someone to come rescue you from breakdown.
Come join me in learning how to successfully make basic repairs on your bicycle. Plan to bring your bicycle and plan to get your hands dirty and/or greasy. She will have you changing a tire or fixing a flat with confidence after the class.
We can carpool and make a day of it, with lunch at a winery or someplace afterwards.
I need at least 5 committed ladies to join me for the class. Otherwise it won't happen. Cost is $25 with a $10 non refundable registration fee included in the cost. Not sure yet how to pay. Details to follow.
