A Hartford CT area coding meetup for any dev-curious, aspiring, or professional developer to work/hack on your project. Or learn to code in an afternoon with coffee and cool-inclusive people. All skill levels are welcome. Bring your laptop! Details on individual event pages.

Belonging, Safety, and Trust. Please report harassment over meetup to an organizer or contact email in our Code of Conduct.
🧑💻 Software Developers, you may find value at our meetup doing one or none of the following: look for a better job, meet developers and make friends, validate the feasibility of an ambitious side project, get help with my coding blocker or homework, gain insight and awareness into a company you're interviewing for, learn about other professions involving code, join a vibrant online discord community, and/or hangout to sip coffee in a perfect space with friendly people.

West Hartford Coworking has been very gracious to provide a fantastic venue for our meetup. They are located at 430 New Park Avenue, Suite 102 in West Hartford. More information on the location and memberships can be found on their website.Event attendees will receive a single, free day pass to cowork at West Hartford Coworking on a chosen day M-F.
Only one free day pass per person is applicable.In addition, they're offering members of the group a FREE MONTH of Unlimited Hot Desk Access (M-F) when they sign up for a 6-month Unlimited Hot Desk Membership ($199/month) - that's just ~$9/weekday to cowork!
☕️ What is Code and Coffee?
Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!The Intro Circle
Near the beginning of the event(11:00 am), we do a standup in a circle:- We first announce organizer announcements, updates, and logistics
Round 1 - (7 secs max):
- Your name
- What you can help others with
- What you would like help with
- Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool.
Round 2:
- Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.
