Ragged Mountain Hike Advanced

This is an advanced hike which includes 5.6 miles and 900’ of elevation gain. The pace will be 25 minute miles. This is one of the more difficult hikes in Connecticut and the terrain is very rugged. This is a very scenic hike which offers spectacular views once we ascend to the ridge line.
Meet at 9:30 and hit the trail by 9:45.
Please make sure you are capable of completing this distance at this pace.
Bring plenty of water and layers of clothing. The weather can change conditions quickly.
Event organizers are only in charge of leading the group. Participants need to be prepared to take care of themselves.
It is also a good idea to download All trails and have the route in case you get separated.
After the hike please join us for a meal at Anthony Jake’s Wood fire grill in Southington.
In case of rain, this event will be moved to Sunday November 24th.
