What we’re about
Here we want to allow like-minded people aged 65+ to connect in the East Bay to organize group housing or form roommate agreements. At a time when many people's situations in life may be changing, this is a good time to come together and connect with others looking for companionship, people to share meals with, or perhaps just share the cost of rent and utilities. Our goal is to form community for those who may be transitioning in their lives or looking for something new.
People should join who are eager to meet others interested in cohousing or roommate situations. I want to encourage people to post in the group with a little bit of information about yourselves and what you are looking for and message one another to see if an arrangement could be formed.
We will organize events if we get enough interest to meet the other members who are interested in roommates, we may throw potlucks or other fun group events to meet the others and grow community.
