Women's Book Club Meeting: The Book Thief

Join a group of women for a bite to eat and discussion of the book, "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. Possible discussion topics will be posted prior to the event.

When you sign up you are committing to come to this event, as reservations will be made at the restaurant and they will be staffing up to accommodate us. A reminder will be sent to you through Meetup about a week before the event. If you need to cancel, please do so that time so the restaurant can be notified. Last minute cancellations and no-shows also do not allow others on the waitlist to attend in your absence. Therefore, in order for us to successfully manage the group, after two event cancellations on the day of the event or two no-shows will result in removal from the group. Thank you for understanding.

This event will take place at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024 (the day after Thanksgiving) at La Cocina de Roberto located at 3126 Sawdust Rd, The Woodlands, TX 77380. You will be responsible for paying for anything that you order.

This is a women's adult only group. Our goal is to keep our events as friendly and fun as possible, and we believe in treating others with respect and dignity, even if we disagree with what they may have to say. This group is not associated with any political or religious beliefs, so in the spirit of keeping events as friendly and fun as possible, we ask that political and religious conversations not be a part of our discussions. Since it's important for each person at an event to have the opportunity to express her thoughts, we also ask for sensitivity from all members as far as not dominating the discussion.
