(Not a French language event, but may be of interest to French speakers!)

Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival (NCIFF) presents the most artistically significant films of contemporary Italian cinema from both established and emerging directors. With feature film screenings, special guests and a variety of events, NCIFF is the premiere event in the Southeastern United States promoting Italian arts, language and culture.

The 18th edition of Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival, featuring the best of contemporary Italian cinema, is set for Nov. 14-17 at the Queen Street Playhouse. Thirteen movies will be screened over four days. A jury will evaluate all films and select a winner based on set criteria. We will roll out the red carpet, present filmmakers and special events, and welcome patrons interested in some of the best cinema made.

We are meeting in person at Saffron on the patio each Saturday at 3 pm or at the big table inside if it is too cold. French speakers of any level of proficiency are invited to attend. This is a great way to connect with others.

There is a large parking lot behind the building -- access it from Calhoun Street and turn south on Alexander Street.
