Glenmore Highlands Weekly Constitutional

This will be a weekly event wandering different trails in the Glenmore Highlands.

We will meet at Ballou Park (at the corner of Ballou Road and Moubray Road) and leave at 1 pm.

I will lead this hike pretty much every Wednesday from now until the Spring so long as there is some interest. Might miss out a week here or there, but pretty much intend to be there every week. If I can't make it I'll try to arm twist someone else into leading or let people know I am cancelling.

This is a HIKE, albeit not a long one. Much of it is on wide trails, but there are some short scrambles, steep sections and, once winter comes slippery bits. Wear shoes with good tread. Bring poles and, in the winter, ice tracks for your boots.

It will vary from one to two hours. This is a way for people to get some outdoor exercise, get to know each other and, if you are new to hiking or the club, find out what it is like.

There are no limits on how many people can come, but keep in mind this isn't a race. We will happily go at the pace of the slowest person. You don't need to let me know you are coming, but get there a couple of minutes early as I am going to set off at 1 pm promptly.

This isn't meant to be a test of fitness - just a way to get to know people and get some exercise in the great outdoors.
