Have you been looking for a way to take advantage of the beautiful weather and mingle with the good people of South Florida? Well this just might be the place from what I have heard from our members new and old. Come meet other volleyball players, those who play in the sandbox and/or indoor courts. All are welcome!
This is a notice to you that risks associated with you and your guests participation in Florida Beach Volleyball events are solely your responsibility. Attendance at any of our events is your acknowledgement that you assume all risk and that you release Florida Beach Volleyball and members of Florida Beach Volleyball from any and all liability for personal injury, property damage, or death.
We have developed a fun group where we all like to play hard and our competitive spirit gets in on our game play. We are an inclusive group - so if you have another group and would like to join us for an outing - by all means - let me know ahead of time. All skill levels are welcome to join us, as we have events for beginners and intermediate/advanced players.
We occassionally have beginners night set for newbies or those returning to the game after some absence - where we play 4's and some instruction is often given freely, mistakes are made, but laughs are aplenty. Then we have the more advanced and intermediate venues where we play 2's a d 3's. At this level consistency is necessary, court awareness demanded (warnings given on first infraction), 3 hits are expected (although execution of a kill shot may occur), fouls are called (net) and the laughing continues in between some trash talking (respectfully) to the other team. We have indoor play and we have beach weekends as well. Alot on the calendar, just make sure you RSVP and do so early as some of our limited venues fill up fast. Please note if you do not RSVP you more than likely will not experience play time.
