From the National Trust c.p at Buzzards Woodland, Withleigh, Devon EX16 8NA. NB Meetup doesn't recognise this location.
To get to Buzzards, simply follow the B3137 from Tiverton to Withleigh. When you enter Withleigh, upon seeing a sign marked ‘parish church’, turn down a small track to the left of this sign. Follow the road until you see the National Trust c.p on the left.
A circular hilly route. Through the Buzzards woodland property following the upper Dart valley. Heading south as far as Bickleigh before returning along paths & quiet country lanes to Withleigh.
This is a WASP walk i.e walked at a sociable pace (of around 2.5mph) stopping at viewpoints & places of interest. Parts of the route can be wet &/or muddy at this time of year so boots are advised. bring a packed lunch, waterproofs & warm clothing. Dogs welcome if on a lead.
