From County Gate c.p. on the A39 between Porlock & Countisbury ( not recognised by meet up).
A circular walk, visiting locations from the story of " Lorna Doone" including Oare, Badgworthy, The East Lyn river along the Coleridge Way to Watersmeet. Countisbury & Foreland Point returning along the South West Coast path
A fairly strenuous walk. Part of the route is across open moorland. Wear or carry waterproofs, warm clothing & appropriate footwear. Expect wet conditions. Bring a packed lunch. Also a torch as we may be finishing in the dark. Dogs welcome if kept on a short lead. We welcome our friends from Essex & Hearts group who will be joining us as part of their group weekend.
