We do expect to wear a helmet and the hair won't quite have the experience that Chat GPT thinks it will... but otherwise we think that description sounds pretty good!

We will be leaving for the Downeast Maine area on **Saturday, June 28** and heading back to the greater Boston area on **Wednesday,** **July 2.** Feel free to join for all or some of those dates!

Although no rides are officially planned yet, we are sure to explore the national park on our bikes, explore other beautiful and less popular spots along the downcast coast and maybe make a run to the northernmost most point of the continental United States. Our usual level of care and thoughtfulness will be put into planning great rides in this beautiful part of our country.

One of the things that we liked about this campground is the possibility to stay on the property in a cabin as well as camp. Perhaps people who would like to ride but not sleep on the ground could rent a cabin and we can spend the evenings around the campfire together.... If you would be interested in this we recommend making a reservation pretty soon. There are a limited number of cabins and a generous cancelation policy in case something changes.

If you would like to join us but a hotel chain is more your style, there are a number of options not to far away in the greater Ellsworth area. If we have riders who are staying in hotels we will find a spot outside of the campground to meet and start our rides.

More information will of course be forthcoming well before the trip, but we wanted to make the announcement now so you can make reservations if you'd like to come along while cabins are still available.
