Try this 4.3-mile out-and-back trail near Whitewater, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1h 39 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, and dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

**MEETING TIME, PLACE & HOW TO FIND US**

* 8:15 am @ The trailhead - Follow the location link below:

* The hike begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp. We apologize in advance for not being able to wait for anyone after this time.
* Look for an ORANGE Nissan Rogue with a GREEN Coyote Hikers flag.
* We usually find a restaurant in the neighborhood to have lunch together afterward (optional).

**COST**
To better manage our events and sustain the Coyote Hikers community, we're introducing a nominal fee of **$10 per person**, per hike. This helps offset our Meetup organizer expenses and fosters a committed hiking community.

**WHAT TO BRING**

* Plenty of water & light snacks
* Hat/Cap, Sunglasses, Sunscreen
* Comfortable shoes preferably hiking shoes
* Windproof light jacket
* Any essential medication you think you might need during or after the hike
* Your charm and good mood 😎

**CARPOOLING**
Should you require carpooling or if you'd like to offer carpooling to fellow hikers, please feel free to post in the chat section.

**ESSENTIAL SAFETY & ECOTOURISM RULES**

* Do not go off-trail, please stay with the pack at all times
* Do not get close to a cliff or engage in dangerous activities
* Smoking is prohibited during the hike
* Do not litter
