The big parking lot adjacent to the Duisburg-Essen University is not accessible, due to on-going construction, so the meeting place is about 1 km away from there.
We'll **meet at the corner of Lotharstraße 170 and Kammerstraße 223**, which is the location of the **TURA 88 Sport Club**. If there are no spaces available at that corner, there should be plenty of parking on the nearby side streets.

For those taking public transport: There is the **933 bus from DU Hauptbahnhof Osteingang (departing at 13:14 and 13:44),** which takes you directly to the meeting point in 11 minutes. Get off at the **Nettelbeckstraße bus stop**. The 928 buses is an alternative, but you will have to walk a bit to the meeting point.
NL and WG did a good recce last week, so this should be a good trail, not too hilly, and almost entirely within the forest.
Plenty of good beer, softies and some snacks will be provided.

**On-after:** There is a Greek restaurant inside TURA 88 Sport Complex, so perhaps some hashers will want to stay on after the trail for bite to eat. No reservations have been made (yet), but we can discuss this at chalk-talk time.

**New to the hash?**

We love running, walking and drinking. As the **hares** lay trail the **hashers** look for markings in flour and chalk to lead them to their destination. You can choose to run or to walk.

Trails are usually on Sunday. It's 5€ per person. Beers, soda and snacks on trail are included unless otherwise stated.

**Bawdy Humor**

Hashers are a silly and cheerful bunch from various backgrounds, ethnicities, ages and genders. Everyone is welcome. We joke and we laugh. Regulars have hash names that can be punny and inappropriate.

**What do I need?**

Come in comfortable running gear. Runs are usually 10km and sometimes there's a longer trail for runners who want to. Some trails can be wet or cold, be sure to prepare for the weather.

**What if I don't drink?**

You can choose water, soda or alcohol-free beer.

**What's after the run?**

A trail ends with circle. We rate the run (for example 6.9 out of 10), come up with accusations (like shortcutting or people getting lost because of bad markings) and sing songs. There may be an **on-after** with food and drinks.
