What we’re about

Our focus is to support meditation and mindfulness in Montgomery County, Indiana, and our surrounding region, and we organize several weekly drop-in meditation groups in Crawfordsville.

Most weeks, we have three drop-in options:

  • Mondays at Wabash College over the lunch hour (noon-1pm) in Baxter 212. We’ll start at 12:10 with three bells, and end at 12:40 with one bell.
  • Tuesday mornings at Wabash College (7-8am): We meet on Tuesdays at Wabash College for Zen meditation (participating virtually with the Sanshin Zen Community in Bloomington) in Baxter 114. Meditation starts with three bells at 7:10am, and ends with one bell at 8am. (For more information on the Tuesday schedule, see: https://mindfulinmoco.com/meditation/).
  • Sundays at Quest for Balance Wellness (4:30-5:30pm). Jai Miranda and I offer a weekly mindfulness meditation group at Quest for Balance Wellness (2886 S. US HWY 231 Crawfordsville, IN 47933). These sessions focus on introducing mindfulness practices (sitting meditation, and body awareness). Each week, we spend some time practicing, using guided or silent meditations, and taking some time for discussion of mindfulness practice. If you are interested, we ask that you reserve your spot through the Quest for Balance site. There is a suggested donation of $15 (more or less as you are able), and all contributions support Quest for Balance Wellness.
