Participants in this class will explore hand building techniques using the traditional methods of pinching, coiling and slab building along with different surface decorations using water based clay. They will be able to create a variety of forms using these techniques.
We have all the equipment you will need to complete a project, except a pottery wheel. We have clay, glazes, tools, kiln and all kinds of supplies for your use while you are in this class. Plan on two meetings to finish a project. Make it, fire it (clay must be totally dry before its fired), glaze it, fire it or paint it, then take it home.
Anne is here to guide you in your art. This meet up is in a well lit studio. Bring your good energy and a sense of humor and, maybe, an apron :)
