Workshop Highlights
In a spacious and comfortable private studio in Norwalk, CT, you'll embark on a two-hour journey that begins with an explanation of the technique. Sheldon will lead you through the intricacies of high-speed photography, demonstrating how to easy it is to capture breathtaking colorful refractions in water drops right in the studio.
Bring your camera and prepare to freeze refractions in water drops in real-time. You’ll leave with beautiful images to add to your portfolio, a new skill set, and the knowledge to set up an affordable water drop photography studio at home.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
- A camera with a ‘Bulb’ mode capability
- Remote Shutter Release
- Tripod
- Patience and an open mind to embrace the unexpected – each drop is unique, with variables that can shift like magic
Lens Recommendation: A lens with close focusing, ideally around a 100mm focal length, is recommended for optimal framing. Standard zoom lenses, such as 24-70mm and 18-55mm, will also work for this workshop, but a telephoto lens (such as a 70-200mm zoom or a 105mm macro prime) is preferred for closer shots and enhanced detail.
