Are you ready to upgrade your art materials but not sure how? Would you like to understand better about how watercolors work and how to mix colors without creating a muddy mix? Would you like to learn how to create more fun brushstrokes?
In this watercolor lab, you will learn how to read the labels on your watercolor paint tubes to determine the quality of the paints. We’ll also explore the different characteristics of watercolor and the best color mixes. You will also learn what to look for when buying new brushes and other supplies for watercolor.
For this hands-on lab, we’ll be mixing paints and trying new brush techniques for foliage and landscapes. I will also be providing some small samples of Daniel Smith watercolors for you to take home. This lab is for those who have been working with watercolors for awhile and would like to dive a bit deeper into the magic of this fun medium.
