What we’re about
Dear Cuddler,
Welcome to Cuddle Sanctuary! Our mission is to shift the culture to a more compassionate world that’s safe for affection and connection for everyone.
My name is Jean Franzblau, and I'm the Founder. I became fascinated with cuddling quite by accident. I had heard of the concept of adults cuddling platonically but I couldn’t find anything like that in Los Angeles.
Years went by until I finally found an event. It was worth the wait! I was amazed how much better I felt. At that point I didn’t even know about the science behind it all. Soothing, touch can lower stress, boost heart health, improve the immune system, and help a person sleep better.
Cuddle Sanctuary posts in-person events lead by certified cuddle professionals - people who have trained to create wonderful, wellness-focused experiences for you.
We also train professional cuddlers and cuddle event leaders and offer racial equity scholarships.
We've been featured on BuzzFeed, Rolling Stone, Dr. Phil, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.
I hope you find something useful here or our website or enjoy the free videos I've created as "Cuddle Queen Jean" on YouTube. You can also find us on Instagram or Facebook.
Again, welcome to Cuddle Sanctuary!
Jean
