What to expect:
Doors open at 6.50 pm head to Garden Bar. Our hosts will check you in, and the first drink is on us. Mingle, or relax by yourself for a short time before the event begins.
Speed Dating:
- You’ll start the night with one small group discussion, before moving into the more traditional 1-on-1 conversations you’d expect at a speed dating event.
- Each table has a set of witty and thought-provoking cue cards, selected to encourage meaningful conversation. Use these for inspiration, or set them aside and have a yarn.
- You’ll have 10 mini-dates during the event, each about 6 minutes long.
Matchmaking:
As you go, fill out your match card, and take note of who you want to see again.
After the event, we’ll email you a form where you can confirm your details, decide how you want to be contacted, and select who you want to match with!
Attendees have 24 hours to complete the form, and then we’ll be in touch to let you know your mutual matches.
There will be a 10-minute break mid-event.
We encourage you to use this time to freshen up, order more food & drinks, and mingle with other attendees.

There are no door sales, so please purchase your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.
The dress code is Smart Casual.
*If the event shows as sold out for your gender, please join our waitlist. Our hosts control ticket sales to ensure a roughly even gender balance and will release more tickets periodically.
