### Great Miami River Trail Selfie Cycle Tour - Hamilton, Ohio

All along the way is the Great Miami River with hints of the former Miami and Erie Canal. A great tour for a relaxing, level adventure.

This 24-mile bikeway tour will take you along the scenic Great Miami River as well as the historic remnants of the Miami and Erie Canal. A midway tasty spot is on route where you can grab a bite, a beverage, or just a rest moment before continuing on with the tour. There are also several other tasty options in the area.

The route follows the topography of the Great Miami River shoreline, which is relatively flat. There are a couple of segments where you might use a bit of bike gear, but nothing to work up too much of a sweat over.

Speaking of sweating - it's optional. You set your own pace, starting time, and touring agenda with CycleNuts' expert smart-guided cycle tour pattern. On some short segments you will be sharing the road with motor vehicles. This is mostly an un-shaded trail, so remember to bring the sunhats, lotion, and perhaps plan on an early morning or evening adventure if hot, sunny rides are not your cup of tea.

This is a smart-guided tour route that can actually be ridden any day or time, solo or with others. It is only posted with a repeating set time and date with a tour leader to fit the Meetup format, and, more importantly to encourage you to get out and ride when it is convenient for you.
