**LOL on Ohio & Erie Canal Bikeways**
**\- Smart\-guided Cycle Tour Canal Fulton OH**
*Ride the canal towpath and bikeways loop and add a canal boat ride or an overnight adventure - even a campsite and Muskingum River canoeing.*

**Canal Fulton is home to one of the sweetest segments of the Ohio to Erie Canal Towpath, and this tour makes a floop of it!** That right - a floop, a partially flattened loop - a CycleNuts original. Besides the magic of the towpath, there is an opportunity to get onto the Ohio & Erie Canal and Tuscawarus River and into a bit of riverside camping. Towards the end of the tour is a pet-friendly tasty spot, just in case you are touring with yours, too (details provided with ticket).

This tour will get your wheels onto the historical Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath, which connected the Ohio River to Lake Erie beginning in the early 19th century. Along the route is the St. Helana III Canal Boat, a replica freighter that gives one-hour horse-drawn tour rides on the Ohio & Erie Canal - CycleNuts tested and approved. There is also a museum/information center with a short movie on the canal's history.

**The 20-mile smart-guided route is 93% bikeway and comes with CycleNuts' 50% downhill guarantee.** Most of the route is on crushed stone bikeways that follow the lay of the land, which is flat. Your bike's gears will not see much use. All bikes are appropriate for this smart-guided tour. The route is shaded about 75% of the way. Sweating is optional. You set the pace, starting time, and touring agenda with Selfie Tours.

If you are feeling adventurous, easily add miles to the route by detouring on any of the nearby points of interest.

This Smart-guided tour route can be used any day or time, solo or with others.

It is posted with a repeating set time and date with a tour leader to fit the Meetup format and encourage you to get out and ride. The actual leader of the tour is you or whoever shows up to ride with a smartphone.
