RIDE OVERVIEW
This is a repeating, weekly event, with the route alternating north and south of the river. PLEASE NOTE that this ride does not have a main ride leader but instead has groups of riders of varying ability who make their way to the cafe independently as they know the route. It is highly recommended that you have access to the route below on your phone in case you become detached from one of the groups.

Minimum speed: 25kph, average speed: 28kph. This may change due to wind conditions and terrain.

We warmly welcome all new riders to this group but sometimes weekend rides are more suitable to start with as their pace tends to be a bit slower and there is a wider range of riding speeds within the group. Please Meetup message or SMS the organiser in advance if you have any concerns about your suitability for this ride in terms of speed or navigational skills.

GETTING THERE

We'll meet in the car park just east of the Narrows Bridge in South Perth then ride to Fremantle on the north side of the river to a Moore & Moore Cafe Fremantle in Henry St.

RIDE ETIQUETTE

All riders will decide on and follow their own route back from the destination independently, usually in small groups, although some will invariably be riding back to the start point and you can usually ride along with them. If you don't know how to find your way home, simply find a fellow rider who is willing to help you back to an area you are familiar with so you can find your way home from there. This is a very friendly group so this is always easy to do. If all else fails, using Google Maps on your smart phone to navigate home is a viable alternative.
