Birmingham D365 & Power Platform User Group - Nov 28th 2024

Our next in-person meeting of the year will take place on Thursday 28th Nov from 18:30 at the Wesleyan Building. Parking is available close by at the B4 Car Park or it’s a short walk from any city centre train station.

Presentation 1: AI Prompting (Speaker: Chris Haydock)
A quick look at some basic prompting techniques and guidance on how to make a good AI Prompt, getting an AI to work for you and the different ways AI can aid us in Power Platform.

Presentation 2: Data Security in Power Automate (Speaker: Matt Weston)
When we are creating flows, the chances of sensitive data flowing through the automation is quite high. This could be data that is being retrieved from a data source, or could be related to embedded credentials which are required to make calls to external web services.
If we are really going to take our data security seriously, then we need to consider what our options are for hiding the information which we don't want anyone else to see.
In this session, we will explore how we can utilise everything from in-flow settings to Azure Key Vault to store, secure, and protect our data while our flows are running.

We strongly encourage you to arrive early to meet other user group members. We will be providing food and refreshments and you are welcome to stay afterwards for a chat!
