The Dallas Film Crew is a united front for the development of film and expansion of opportunities for filmmakers in the Dallas community.
We believe film is not something we do, film is a lifestyle. We believe that every great film begins with a great story and collaboration is the precursor to success. Dallas Film Crew is not a production company, it is a creative community of producers, filmmakers, and artists. The Dallas Film Crew envisions collaboration between filmmakers, supports our community through workshops and competitions, and organizes productions by combining our collective talent. We strive to make DFW synonymous with film through feature-quality motion pictures, talented visionaries, and the development of stories worth telling.

Regardless of experience, you are also welcome to participate in the Open Table reads. This is also a marvelous way for you to network with a rising generation of filmmakers. Plus your acting skills will be well appreciated bringing characters to life for the first time on in progress screenplays.
What’s an Open Table Read?
A chance for screenwriters of all levels to gather with other passionate screenwriters, do a table read of a selection of screenplays, and receive notes on their own work. A table read is a great way to bring your story to life by hearing it read loud. It is our wish that you use this opportunity to advance your journey with your screenplay. After all, everybody has a story to tell and we are here to listen at The Dallas Filmmakers Alliance.

Rules:
- We take pictures of participants and post them on social media, by participating, you agree to be photographed .
- Some participants will choose to be on video. If you are knowingly videoed, such as acting in a film, the videos will most likely be shared online.
- Teenagers under 18 are allowed to participate with a guardian.
