Owner Sherry Mark strongly believes that batting is an important, yet often overlooked and undervalued, component of quilting projects.

In her presentation “*Why Your Batting Matters,*” Sherry will discuss the basics of batting: fibers, advantages and disadvantages of each, some gotchas of using cheap batting, how to determine which batting to use when, and just a little bit about the manufacturing process.
