EVENT: Join us to embrace and celebrate another enjoyable Singles Over 50 New Years Eve. 🥳 Experience the pleasure of dancing, partying, and connecting with classy and savvy singles in the Calgary area.
Musical Entertainment by The Diva Dance Party (DivaDanceParty.ca). Enjoy impressions of Cher, Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Blondie, Dolly Parton and more! Dance and party with the Divas as they make appearances in the crowd and on the dance floor. Have fun with audience participation numbers & dancing to Classic Rock, Disco, Latin, Country, Pop and good ol' Rock n' Roll!. a mixture of current rock; excellent entertainment for dancing and partying.
There is a cash bar, a late-night buffet lunch and favors at midnight. 🎈 🎈 🎈 If you sign up, you are on the waitlist until payment is confirmed. 🥳 🥳 The list of attending may not be accurate as people are buying tickets from many sources. A special “take the elevator home” room rate of $99 is offered to M&M for this event. We have a block of 20 hotel rooms reserved with the hotel… first come first served.

RESERVATION/HOW TO FIND US: We will have a reserved seating section of the ballroom for our savvy singles.

AGE RANGE: For Singles 45+. This is a multi-Meet up/Facebook event. Casual dating couples who mix and mingle with others are welcome to join us. 💃🏻🕺🏽

DRESS CODE: DRESS TO IMPRESS in 👨‍💼evening business/cocktail/ formal/ NYE attire. 👗 (No jeans please).

PARKING/TRANSPORTATION: Lots of free parking in adjacent hotel lot. Alternate safe transportation check Calgary transit schedule HERE.

CONDITIONS: ONLY 100 tickets are available for our group. MAXIMUM OF 2 tickets for each person. No refunds for purchased tickets. You will be put on the waitlist until payment is confirmed. We will try get even numbers of men and women (if that is possible!!) Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to those who do not have tickets or are rude from our group event. (No gate crashers please!)

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: HOTEL ROOM A special room rate of $ 99 + GST for single or double occupancy is available for our group (You can stay for more than one night at this price).Call Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel at (403) 248-8888 to book your room with the Mix and Mingles and Diva Party group.
Check in time is 3 pm. We encourage you to book a room so you do not drink and drive; Taxis and Ubers are hard to get and expensive on NYE. You can bring your own drinks and snacks to the room, enjoy a few extra drinks; be safe and be relaxed. If you stay at the hotel, the after-hour parties and visits are fun too! Bring your swimsuit and exercise outfit so when you wake up on Jan 01 you can use the hotel facilities to swim, hot tub or exercise. You can also arrange to socialize with others or have breakfast in the restaurant until 10 am or lunch after that. The pool is open 7am – 11pm. Plug-ins are available for overnight guest vehicles if weather is bad.

Participants who agree to carpool do so at their own discretion and risk. You acknowledge that it is unsafe and against the law for you to drive while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs.
