Dash is one of an emerging class of community-driven, free-market currencies using radically disruptive blockchain technology. Blockchains are cryptographically secured, decentralized ledgers stored on peer-to-peer networks, removing the need (and cost) of a middleman like a central bank. Cryptocurrency is changing the way we think about money.
Dash aims to be the most scalable and most user-friendly digital currency in the world. Its network features instantly confirmed transactions, optional privacy, and a self-governing and self-funding model. Utah boasts a robust landscape of technology and innovation and we aim to draw from this community to create one of the world's most active and energetic cryptocurrency hubs. More specifically, we hope to bring together like-minded individuals to jumpstart a local Dash ecosystem of people earning and spending Dash in real life.
