Cassandra Simmons is a Senior Consultant in Data Analytics at InfoWorks. She has previously worked in similar roles at a Big Four accounting firm and the largest health system in the United States.
She focuses on leveraging design and visualization best practices to create data products that stand out above the rest. She couples this with her passion for public speaking, resulting in curated data stories that highlight key insights and inspire change. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge in those areas and, as such, is frequently asked to lead firm-wide training and speak at various events.
Cassandra has a BSc degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a BSc Hons degree in Statistics from North-West University in South Africa. She has earned certificates from UC – Davis in Fundamentals of Visualization, Essential Design Principles, and Visual Analytics. In recognition of her report design expertise, in 2021, Cassandra won the 5th Annual Nashville Power BI & Excel Dashboard Contest.
