In SQL Server 2022, there is a huge misconception that TempDB contention is completely resolved. This is NOT true.
Attend this session to find out why and what needs to be addressed in TempDB for better performance.
In this session, I’ll show you how contention on TempDB occurs and how to identify when it occurs. I’ll explore methods to analyze and resolve contention.

Finally, I’ll show you a demo on how to mitigate each of the contention types and how it varies across SQL Server versions 2019 and 2022. By the end of this session, you will be able to address and resolve TempDB contention promptly, ensuring optimal TempDB performance in your SQL Server.
