Speaker Bio:

Srinivasan Thangamani
Since 2022, Srinivasan Thangamani is a Lead Data Scientist at OCBC with a passion for building innovative AI solutions. With experience in delivering AI-powered projects in anti-money laundering, scam detection, and AI-generated content, he enjoys pushing the boundaries of what's possible with technology. His expertise spans programming, predictive modelling, and natural language processing, with a particular interest in visual language models and document parsing.

Kenneth Zhu
Kenneth Zhu is Executive Director of Data Science at OCBC, where he has worked since 2018. He heads a team that creates AI solutions to help the bank operate more efficiently and prevent financial crimes. Their work includes automating tasks such as monitoring transactions, verifying customer identities, SWIFT messaging and detecting scams. Kenneth is currently working on using VLM + Agent to automate complex tasks that involve images and documents parsing. In his spare time, he also works as a industry mentor at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Adrien Chenailler
Adrien Chenailler is currently the Head of Data Science at OCBC. He heads the Data Science department, which is responsible for building AI models for OCBC. His team is developing models for customer marketing, fraud detection, business banking, wealth management, and many others. He has led OCBC's data science efforts into the Generative AI era, pioneering key banking applications. He was previously in data leadership roles at Twitter and Gojek.
