Lachie will run this Trivia event this week and can help you organise a team if need be (though other people with teams will be in attendance as well). So come with a team, or we can organise you teammates. No reservations required, simply turn up before 6:30 on the night.

Time to step it up Dates and Mates and visit a swanky private bar with an exceptional reputation; Copacabana Bar. You'll feel like you've gone back in time and forward in classiness, sipping on a sumptuous cocktail at this gem of a find.

As we have a good arrangement with the venue, they'll let us have the venue without a minimum spend. But if there's a subsequent booking it's possible we have to change which area we're in.

*Update: we'll have a space sectioned off for us at Copacabana Bar, which is out the back of Mr Badger's. There is also entry from Stanley St.

If we do end up with a small minimum spend hopefully all those people RSVPD turn up as you do when you're RSVPD - right! Otherwise it's a tax deduction.

We’re excited to present this new gin distillery venue Nosferatu. Gin is currently all the rage, and Nosferatu is quickly becoming renowned for their wide selection of in-house gins, including pavlova flavoured gin! Nosferatu is conveniently placed near Bowen Hills Station, with plenty of street parking options if you’re just getting the one drink.

Otherwise it’s pretty much as follows:
Each date will go for between six and eight minutes, and if you match with your partner your contact details will be exchanged the next day via email (from the host). If the love bug doesn’t bite, but you’d like a friendship, you can choose to match as a friend. You can also choose between providing a phone number or email address to potential matches. The host will ensure everyone meets everyone, by moving people around.
