Friday night booze and board gaming at d20 in Kettering. We welcome players of all skill levels. Whether you're a Gloomhaven weirdo with a closet full of half-painted miniatures, or haven't touched a board game since you were 10 and your step-dad drunkenly flipped the Monopoly board out of sheer rage, come on out! We usually play light-to-medium weight games but are more than happy to get down on the harder stuff on occasion. Let us know what you enjoy, and we'd be more than happy to accommodate.
d20 is a board game bar which offers draft beer, wine, mead, seltzers, and a full-liquor bar. They also have fun Mocktails and soda for the non-drinkers. There is no food menu, but you are free to bring whatever you'd like to eat with you, or have it delivered directly to the bar. There IS a Chinese restaurant next door that has take-out, but they are awful. 🤮
We will usually have a sign on our table that says Meeples Anonymous. Hope to see you there! 🙋♂️🙋♂️

A meeple is the playing piece or token in a board game, usually having an extremely stylized human form. The word meeple comes from blending the words my and people. A word consisting of blended words is called a portmanteau. Meeple was coined in the year 2000 by Alison Hansel to describe the wooden figures in the game Carcassonne.
