Pistol Shoot

Okay, several have asked so let's do another pistol shooting event. The number of lanes that we have will be dependent on the number of people that we bring as a group and the other people that will be shooting.

Just to be clear, this event is open for ALL. Whether you have done it before, or you are a pro. Whether you own a pistol or not. Please come. I hope to have 3 or 4 people that will have a gun or two that will allow others to shoot a few so everyone will get to do it. I will try to bring lots of extra eye and ear protection so no excuses for not coming.

This will be an outdoor event so dress warm for November in Ohio and we will post pone for weather if need be. Yes, I know November in Ohio means we could have 70 degree weather or snow...just dress for it.

If you want to join then come. If you have never tried it, then lets check this one off for you. Don't worry if it is your first time. We love helping people learn the sport of shooting so don't worry if you don't hit anything.

If it really is your very first time and you are a little apprehensive about it then let me know and I can meet you a little early so you can get some one on one practice and feel at ease about it.

Remember Yoda said "Do, or Do not. There is no try." He didn't say ANYTHING about how successful you would be. Just come try it.

You will need a permit. It is $5 for one day or $24 for an annual pass. You can pay a couple of bucks for ammo to whoever you used their pistol.

The range is called Spring Valley (https://ohiodnr.gov/go-and-do/plan-a-visit/find-a-property/spring-valley-wildlife-area-shooting-range) and we will meet at pistol and rifle ranges, sign in, and then take our lanes.
