Join the Dayton Hikers group for our annual Christmas Party, hikes, music, potluck, sing-along, speaker, and a visit from Santa.
Mingle with your friend. Make new friends. Take a hike at Bill Yeck Park, enjoy a holiday potluck feast, sing Christmas songs, and attend a short presentation. This awesome event is held in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at St. Leonard's in Centerville right next to Bill Yeck Park.
Locally famous radio host, DJ, and musician, Tony Peters will DJ the party and play your favorite Christmas music including a group sing-along session. Warm up your vocal cords!
No pets! Two guests are permitted.
THE SCHEDULE:
Noon - Event Begins / Social Hour / Christmas Music
1:00 pm - Hikes Begin / Group Photo
2:30 pm - Potluck Feast / Christmas Music
3:15 pm - Christmas Sing-Along
4:00 pm - Small Business Spotlight. Short 10-minute presentations from new outdoor recreation business owners and non-profits.
5:00 pm-ish - Clean up
HIKES: Come dressed in festive Christmas clothing and be ready to hike. Dress for the weather. All hikes depart from the party room at St., Leonard.

POTLUCK: Enjoy a potluck feast after a hike. Please bring a meat dish, soup, an appetizer, a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. Crock pots and hot dishes are welcome. Bring serving utensils, if needed, and label your dish and utensils with your name. Limited electrical outlets are available. No refrigerator.
SING-ALONG: Can you sing? Do you have a good voice? It doesn't matter. Tony Peters will DJ some Christmas music and we will sing along. Form a small singing group and the floor will be yours.
GROUP SING-ALONG: The highlight of the singing is a group rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas. All will participate in this fun sing along.

βοΈJessica Urton - Hope Wanders. Hope Wanders is non-profit, 501(c)3 organization helping women from difficult life situations to be able to experience outdoor activities and community. We are removing all barriers that may prevent women from taking advantage of the healing and health benefits of adventures in nature.

βοΈCharlie Overlock of Taiters Kayak Solutions. Charlie is the new owner of Taiters Kayak Solutions who rents kayaks at RiverScape MetroPark. In addition, he offers kayak rentals all over southwest Ohio and personal shuttle service. Come experience Dayton on its many picturesque waterways!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED: An event like this can't happen without volunteers. Please help!
Helpers are needed at 5:00 pm-ish for tear down/clean up. Do you have Christmas decorations we can borrow for this event? We'd love to have your help decorating the hall on Friday afternoon.
