6 Mile Post Thanksgiving Hike at Bill Yeck Park - Smith House Entrance

Anyone else already feel the need to hike off all the extra Thanksgiving treats? Look no further - this hike will be about 6 miles at a brisk pace (about 3.0 mph). We will meet and begin at the Smith House entrance of Bill Yeck Park at 10am.

There are hills and creek crossings, so sturdy boots and hiking poles are recommended. It also looks like it will be COLD - so please dress accordingly. We could have icy creek crossings. I do not recommend this hike for beginners.

If storms/wind/heavy rain are in the area or the cold is more extreme than expected, I may cancel, so please check here prior to heading out.

No pets please.
