What we’re about
A social group for young professionals (those in the first 10-15 years of their careers) working in aerospace/space science (or with an interest/background in aerospace/space science) in the DC area! This is a great opportunity to meet other likeminded folks in the area, learn about whet what everyone else is doing in the field, and just have fun!
Some events may be aerospace related, but that is certainly not a requirement! Examples of events we may hold:
- Happy hours/other food based get-togethers in the area
- Meetups for aerospace/science-related events in the area (lectures, exhibits, etc)
- Occasional out of town trips that may or may not be space related, such as
- Rocket launches at Wallops
- Astronomy parties
- General camping trips
- Any events you can think of that might be of interest to our crowd!
Note: as a group we aim to be welcoming to folks of all lived experiences with a strong interest in or working professionally within the aerospace industry. We strive to foster an inclusive community, and any actions against this aim will not be tolerated.
