Holiday Wreath Workshop and Colonial Christmas Traditions Livestream

Details

Experience the charm of the holidays through this annual virtual event, where we delve into the delightful world of Williamsburg-style Christmas decorations! Adorned with fresh fruit and natural materials, these festive creations are cherished icons of the season.

Join us as we explore the rich Christmas traditions of 18th-century Virginia and learn the art of crafting your very own Williamsburg-style wreath. Your guide for this journey is Liz Maurer, a passionate history enthusiast who mastered the art of wreath-making while living in Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area.

As the Director of Re-Living History, Liz brings a wealth of expertise in designing and delivering captivating history education programs. Her impressive background includes serving as the former Director of Programs at the National Women’s History Museum and holding educational roles at both Mount Vernon and Colonial Williamsburg.
Don't miss this chance to celebrate history and creativity this holiday season!
