We christian people fill our life with lots of activities and hobbies to truly experience the abundant life with Jesus. Having a full time job, studying, all sorts of sport, arts and adventurous activities. We pray, worship, listen to worship music, watch the church online and enjoy the company of our numerous friends. We enjoy so much that we never ever feel the need for a relationship. We can live a peaceful life, get old, get retired and eventually die someday, having proudly adopted, parented and grown up many dogs and cats during our life times! There's just one problem:
This is not God's plan for your life!
If you also don't like the above picture and want to live your life as God's planed, and find your Godly soulmate, then you're on the right track. Here we believe that in order to do it successfully, in addition to prayers, Christian singles must overcome three main challenges:
\- First\, understand that finding your soulmate is a task God demands from you\. Yes\. It is is not an expensive optional hobby\. We must leave our corner of comfort and do something other than just waiting for the right person to come\. Abraham sent his servant on a journey for this purpose\. Jacob traveled long distances for this purpose\, and Naomi sent Ruth in middle of night to Boaz threshing floor for this purpose\. People in bible\, our role models\, did things more than just waiting\.
\- Secondly\, it is a vow to God to live together forever\. No sex before you make that vow\! The idea of trying sex before making that decision\, sounds very promising\, but it doesn't work\. There are many reasons\. First\, if you want God to help you on a journey of a life time\, then you must obey him\. Secondly\, this can impair your judgment and you might think just because things are good in bed\, they will be good forever\. Third\, people are not products on a shelve to pick up\, use it for a while\, and then return it if you're not satisfied\, and get a refund\! Let's respect each other\.
\- And finally\, I believe that we all are amazing people\. We are awesome\! We Really Deserve the Best\! We all deserve the most beautiful\, gorgeous\, handsome\, famous\, tallest\, healthiest\, wealthiest\, billionaire person in the whole universe to be our spouse\! The bad news is: The best is already taken\! So\, sorry\. If you want to start a relationship\, bring your expectations from the clouds above down to the ground of reality and then you can eventually see the right person God has chosen for you\. The one that God has found the best for YOU\.
We can never plan for a life time. Only God knows the future. But if we do things God's way, he will help us. This meeting happens weekly. Every week we gather together, introduce ourselves if new, read the scripture, talk around the topic of the meeting and pray in a circle for each other. So we create a friendly atmosphere like a small village, and to gradually get to know each other, our personalities and mindset. Slowly relationships can take form by God's help. Together, let's reverse the tide of statistics in the city of Berlin.
