What engineers need to know about modern CI/CD

• Description: The increasing scale and diversity of software delivery environments have made maintaining consistency, security, and reliability in CI/CD pipelines more difficult. This session, led by AWS community and employee experts, provides insights into addressing these challenges through best practices and modern techniques. Participants will learn about methods for ensuring consistent deployments, effective configuration management, progressive delivery strategies, drift detection, and automated auditing using generative AI. The session will also explore practical solutions for enhancing reliability, safety, and efficiency, ultimately enabling faster delivery and reducing errors by standardizing processes and streamlining workflows across projects.

How to decentralize the management of the IAM Identity Center to adhere to organizational structure at scale

• Description: AWS IAM Identity Center (formerly AWS SSO) provides a convenient and centralized way for AWS Organizations to manage user permissions and access across multiple AWS accounts. AWS Identity Center’s workflow has limitations for large-scale organizations due to centralized permission management, API throttling, and account factory integration constraints. The talk will explain how the AWS IAM Identity Center anyways can be used in an enterprise with decentralized organization structure instead of using other solutions.
