The Gloss Book Club provides a relaxed and casual atmosphere to meet friends in new cities, as well as connecting individuals with others who share their love of good books.
From its inception in August 2008, The Gloss now has over 150,000 members in 15 countries and 150+ cities across the globe, making it the largest of its kind in the world. The book club originated in London, UK as The Girly Book Club, but now has strong holds in many parts of the world including the USA, Canada, and Australasia.
All Gloss chapters read the same book at the same time and meet up once a month in a centrally located venue to discuss that month’s book. Each meeting draws anywhere from 10 to 100 attendees each month. The meetings are all conducted by a local host and held the end of the month and follow the same format.
