Unabhängig davon, welche Hochschule deine Alma Mater ist, im Startup Incubator Berlin bist du herzlich willkommen und kannst gern an unserem Programm teilnehmen. Wir wollen ein Schmelztiegel von jungen innovativen Menschen sein und verstehen unsere Rolle als eine Austauschplattform für Startups, die auf der Suche nach neuen Partnern, Teammitgliedern oder einfach nützlichen Informationen sind.

This group is for everyone who wants to keep track of the events organized by the Startup Incubator Berlin (BSEL).
Regardless of your alma mater, you are welcome to pay us a visit and benefit from our program. Our aim is to become a melting pot of young innovators and an exchange platform for startups which are looking for new partners, team members or precious information.

This workshop provides an overview of relevant fundraising aspects - from financing options, valuation frameworks to pitch deck structure
Your workshop
You will receive an overview and brief introduction to different funding options for startups. Then, you will deep-dive into typical funding requirements by VCs, get an overview of the investor universe and a review of common valuation frameworks for funding rounds. Further, an analysis of a suitable pitch deck structure will be given, plus reviewing of successful funding decks as a case study.
Your coach
Karime Mimoun spent his career at the intersection of finance and startups. Starting as an M&A advisor focusing on startups, he then switched to the operational side and worked in various startups in the finance department. During this time, he has led multiple funding projects.
Participation
The workshop takes place on-site at the Startup Incubator Berlin, located at the Berlin "Zukunftsort" Siemensstadt Square, just a few steps away from the U7 subway station Rohrdamm.
Registration is possible here until the day before the event at 2 p.m., the number of participants is limited to 20 people. Please let us know early if you registered, but will be unable to attend. That way, we can accomodate attendees on the waiting list.
Due to the required registration at the gate and the access route to your workshop room, we ask participants to arrive no later than 14:45 h at the reception gate of our location (Rohrdamm 88, 13629 Berlin-Siemensstadt) where you will be met by our staff.
A photo ID (passport, driver's license, etc.) is required for access to the Siemens factory premises.
The workshop is free of charge for all participants, as it is publicly funded. For administrative purposes, our sponsors require enrollment in our participants’ lists (with full name, e-mail address, signature) on site.
