Social slow run and Yoga on Köpenicker Str (Mitte/Kreuzberg)
Details
🏃♂️ Join us for a social slow run and follow up yoga on Sunday, November 17th, at 8:30 am! We'll meet at "Denizen" (Self-care studio on the left from main entrance) on Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin
🌞 Our plan: a small intro to the idea of concept of slow run + yoga, a warm-up, approx. 30 min leisurely run, approx. 30 min Yoga and optional coffee afterwards in coffee place nearby.
🏃🏻♀️ Run: 5-10 min warm up and 30 min run in Engelbecken, averaging 9 min/km pace. Total distance: 3-4 km. The run will be slow and in Zone2, perfect for conversation without breaking a sweat.
🧘🏽 Post-Run Yoga Session: in this 30-minute gentle Yoga practice, we will focus on relieving muscle tension, improving flexibility, and deepening your breathing practice to aid recovery and ease stress after your run.
☕️ After the run and the yoga session, we might head to a coffee place nearby for brunch, coffee, and chats. This part is optional.
👫 It's an event to not only do a sport together but also socialize during the run, we usually speak in English.
🚨 The drop-off in will be in "Denizen", you can leave your staff there before the run. After the run we come back there for yoga. The place has yoga mats and blocks.
💰 This a paid event.
First time - 10 euro. Singe ticket 20 euro. 5 tickets - 85 euro, valid for 2 months. 10 tickets - 150 euro, valid for 3 months. Tickets are valid for other yoga sessions by Aglaya.
🙌 About yoga host Aglaya:
"Sport wasn’t a regular part of my life until I started practicing yoga and running. Yoga quickly became my passion, so in 2020, I officially became a Hatha yoga teacher. I believe everyone can practice yoga and find something in it that works best for them. I also believe in the power of routine and community to create real progress, which is why I want to build a group that comes regularly to my classes. Can’t wait to guide you through a gentle post-run session!"
🙌 About running host Evgenia:
"I didn't do any sport in childhood because of scoliose, in Uni I learnt how to swim, in 2018 inspired by friends decided to run my first half marathon even running was never my thing. After that half marathon I thought I would never run again, but then Covid and next half marathon, then again and again, by now I did it 6 times in total. In May 2023 I went to the physiology of movement course and started to prepare some of my friends to some races. By now had around 10 athletes in total whom I prepared from 5k to marathon. I'm fan of slow running and believe that is the key to success"
Every week on Sunday until December 29, 2024
