Uri Caine’s music is a fusion of diverse influences, blending his Jewish heritage, classical and jazz training, and fascination with electronics to create innovative and challenging compositions. Caine’s impressive career includes commissions from prestigious ensembles and orchestras, such as the American Composers Orchestra and The Beaux Arts Trio. His recent orchestral work, “Sunburst,” debuted in Palermo, Sicily, in 2016. He’s a recipient of grants from institutions like the National Endowment for the Arts and has graced stages at renowned festivals worldwide.

With a style that blends hard bop, melodic European jazz, and blues, he has solidified his place among the top jazz guitarists in the world.
Gulbrandsen has performed with renowned musicians like Adam Nussbaum, Joe Farnsworth, Troy Roberts, Jon Irabagon, and Mark Ferber, gracing stages such as Birdland, Blue Note NYC, The Kennedy Center, and international jazz festivals. He is also a prominent artist with Collings Guitars, Sadowsky Guitars, and Quilter Labs, and a faculty member at Kaufman Music Center.
