What we’re about
We are working towards de facto decriminalization of marijuana in Johnson County, Iowa, as well as working with other similar groups to decriminalize marijuana state-wide by supporting changes to legislation.
Our current strategy for effectively decriminalizing personal use of cannabis in Johnson County is centered around electing a progressive County Attorney that would use their power of prosecutorial discretion to dismiss all such cases (all criminal charges must be approved by the County Attorney to get prosecuted; a more detailed discussion of the topic can be found here: http://www.press-citizen.com/article/201401...)
