What's a great way to meet, learn, and share with local cybersecurity professionals? Attend a DEF CON 864 meeting. We provide learning opportunities, resources, and camaraderie for anyone interested in technology and information security. Upstate South Carolina’s DEF CON group (dc864.org). Join us on Discord. All ages and skill levels welcome. No dues, no fees. We support digital freedom: free expression, security, privacy, creativity, and access to knowledge.
Our projects focus on application security, OSINT, penetration testing, incident response, malware analysis, locksport, maker projects, and physical security. Any area of technology intersecting life is of interest. We openly discuss cybersecurity career paths and encourage mentoring.
We are a passionate group of information security / cybersecurity professionals and hobbyists. We do not condone blackhat or malicious hacking of any kind.
