I've had to change this hike because it is hunting season in the Seminole State Forrest. So I've changed it to another park closeby, Weiwa Springs State Park.

We'll do seven to eight miles on the trails. The pic in the header is from one of the trails there and pretty indicative of what you'll find trail wise. Some of the trail will be under shaded trees.

There is a $5 entrance fee to the state park. This time of the year, the park doesn't get too crowded so we should be fine with a 9am start time.

If you want to camp, there are primitive camp sites. Lisa has already reserved Big Fork and has offered to host other tents on that site. You can text her at 352-396-9527 for more info.
