Black Run Preserve Morning Hike (Moderate)
Details
This 4+ mile Hike will Start an End at the Kettle Run Rd trailhead pictured in the feature photo. It is basically flat with some rolling small hills. There are porta pots at the start and halfway points. We'll be hiking parts of the red, yellow, green, blue, white and black trails. Our hike will take us past several bodies of water, over small tributaries, through different types of woodlands and past friendship circles. We'll take a short break at the Borton Rd trailhead which is about halfway. Expect to see various types of wildlife, beaver dams and different forms of vegetation. This is a diverse and beautiful trail worthy of some photos. We'll stop frequently to break, take a picture or just enjoy the moment. Taking our time is a more enjoyable way of experiencing nature and the hike. I also plan on leaving a painted inspirational rock at some point to mark our presence. Should be fun. I've included some pictures so you know what to expect. Hope you can make it. Paul contact # 609-540-2513
