What we’re about
Delaware Valley VEG is dedicated to helping the Delaware Valley eat more plants for all the reasons: The animals, the environment, and health.
We welcome everyone from committed vegans to "veg-curious" folk. Through our programming, we strive to to build community, educate, increase access to vegan/plant-based food options, and HAVE FUN!
We host or participate in a ton of events, but our favorite annual events are Phoenixville VegFest and Diner en Vert.
Join the Del Val Veg discussion on Facebook too!

Feel free to bring vegan snacks to share!
Book club is usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Ann's Heart Kitchen, but if the date or location change, they will be updated in the event.

- Boardgaming at Root Down!!Root Down Brewing Company, Phoenixville, PA
Need an excuse to get out and play some friendly boardgames midweek?! ?
Well, Root Down Brewing serves up new weekly Vegan dinner options (they usually post them on their Facebook Page), so let's get our gaming on between veggie bites on the last Wednesday of the month!
Bring your favorite games and we'll meet in the picnic lounge area to bust them out! We'll surely chat it up about the latest vegan events, animal advocacy efforts, and plant-based recipes all while having a good old time playing board and card games!
Feel free to post games you like in the comments. Some games I have: Carcassonne, Cat Lady, Spots, Letter Tycoon, Citadels, Love Letter (Lord of the Rings), and Code Names. I'm happy to teach 'em all, so don't hesitate to come out and learn something new.
(FYI, I set the start time as 5:30 since street parking on Main St. outside Root Down is usually available then, but no worries if you need to wander in a little later. Just post your ETA in the comments so we know when you're coming)
I look forward to rolling dice and nibbling vegan delights with you all!
(Note: In the spirit of Delaware Valley VEG, we ask that only plant-based food and drink be consumed at this event. But whether you're vegan, vegetarian, flexetarian, vedge-curious, etc. everyone is welcome!)
- ThanksLiving: A Casual Vegan Potluck Friendsgiving GatheringNeeds location
What is ThanksLiving? A free potluck Friendsgiving event where we gather in an uber-casual environment and share our vegan offerings with each other. Need a recipe? We can help. Don't cook? There are other ways to contribute. Can't contribute anything right now? We want you to come anyway. The only definite rules are that everything must be 100% vegan and everyone must sign up ahead of time so we know how many guests to expect and can plan accordingly.
ThanksLiving is Saturday 11/30 from 4-7pm. Visit this link for a gazillion details and/or to sign up to attend.

Go to the event page and hit either "Interested" or "Going" for now, and then sign up officially when you know what you want to bring. (We ask folks to tell us what they're bringing to help other people decide. It's totally ok to duplicate dishes though. No two are identical!)
