What we’re about
We are a friendly group for adult hobbyist piano (and/or keyboard) players with skill levels that range from early intermediate to advanced or professional. Styles of music for most members include classical, jazz, improvisational or popular song arrangements. Most have had some piano training in the past or still study with a teacher and are of all ages. The Denver Area Piano Group is a performance group where everyone is encouraged to play something they're working on. The group isn't for those who don't wish to participate in performing at least a few times a year. We get together about once per month at various members' homes to enjoy food and drink after playing music for each other. Playing a variety of pianos at our event hosts' homes and experiencing every member's different musical tastes often provokes some interesting conversations as well!
